Rescue Volunteers Appreciation Picnic
Sunday, June 29, 2008- 10 AM to 4PM

Central Park - C St between 3rd and 5th

All Rescue families - volunteers, adoptive families, foster families and families thinking about adopting a Pyr - are invited to our annual Rescue Volunteers Appreciation Picnic. Meet others who have fostered or adopted Pyrs, have your questions answered, or just find out what's involved in volunteering. Enjoy our picnic lunch. Win some terrific raffle prizes. Bring your dog and participate in the

GPCC Spay/Neuter Match

Your spayed or neutered Pyr can compete in this Fun Match just for them. Any spayed or neutered Pyr over the age of four months is eligible to enter, it doesn't have to be a Rescue alumni. Neither you nor your dog need any prior show experience - remember, this is for fun (and a few nice prizes.) If you didn't receive an entry in the mail, click here to download a copy.

Entries MUST be made by June 23rd.

PLEASE let us know if you are coming, so we know how much food to prepare.

World's Shortest Parade - July 4th - Aptos

Please save the date for the "Worlds Shortest Parade" on Wednesday 4th of July. This wonderful and fun day walking in the Parade with our dogs is hosted by Don Bowden with a barbeque to follow at his cabin. Don will be having coffee and dougnuts in the morning at the cabin for those of you that would like to meet there. Please try to be there no later than 8:30 a.m. His Cabin address is 3276 Valencia Rd. Aptos. Or you can meet in the line at 10:00 a.m. SHARP at State Park Dr. Aptos. The weather should be beautiful and not too hot. If you do not want to march in the parade, you can just enjoy time up at the cabin. The giant redwoods and creek make it a very relaxing place to enjoy a day with our dogs and friends. Don't forget to dress up the dogs and of course yourself in your favorite spirit wear, as we celebrate Independence Day!! For more information contact Lisa Anderson at lisalucinda2@sbcglobal.net or Don Bowden at dbowden@tech-tone.com.

This is a Fireworks Free Zone. We hope to see you there!
